**Q: There is no expiration date on the bag, does this expire and if so how long does it take for an unopened bag to expire?**
A: Diatomaceous Earth does not have an expiation date.  It is over a million years old already.

**Q: This product is Sodium Bentonite & 'can' be used for ingestion by many of the reviewers below, on this page. Amount of sodium please?**
A: As I am finding out, sodium bentonite is not what you read about when you hear "bentonite clay". Calcium Bentonite is used in the skin care industry. The is sodium bentonite, which is used in industrial sealant of ponds and wells. 
Farthmore, when you search for information on this company (that is claiming its food grade) you can't find any. I did see where they commented that this clay is mined in the Black Hills area.... Which is polluted from old mining operations. I ordered this clay back in 2018, thinking it was the same as the clay I used as a teen. But this clumps and is very irritating on my skin. Turns out, this stuff is used for sealing old Wells and Ponds

A: Hi- we are the manufacturer and owner of the Fossil Power brand. The bentonite clay is sourced from a mine in the Black Hills region. As for the purity, our COA document states "Hydrous aluminum silicate comprised principally of the clay mineral montmorillonite. Montmorillonite content 85% minimum. Contains minor amounts of feldspar, calcite, and quartz."  Thank you for your interest.
