Brown Sugar Saver - Soak your ceramic brown sugar softener in water for 15 minutes, pat dry, and put on top of the brown sugar. JBK knows firsthand how frustrating it is when you go to the pantry or cupboard for the brown sugar, only to discover it is ROCK HARD and completely dried up! Our mothers and grandmothers used a piece of bread or apple to try to solve the problem, but there was the possibility of mold imparting an undesired flavor to the sugar, and the solution was short lived. The JBK Brown Sugar Saver will soften the hard brown sugar and keep it soft for up to 6 months when stored in a closed container. When sugar begins to harden, re-soak, pat dry, and use again. Use after soaking to soften and maintain moisture in brown sugar, granulated sugar, sugar in the raw, turbinado sugar, and sugar substitutes, baked goods, cakes, cookies, marshmallows, even dried fruit. Or, use it dry without soaking to absorb moisture and keep spices, salt, crackers, pretzels and chips dry and crispy. Pot Minder - The JBK Pot Minder is ideal for reducing those messy boilovers. Simply place the Pot Minder in the bottom of the pot when cooking or warming pasta, soups, potatoes, vegetables, or milk. The unique ceramic material and product design modify bubble formation when boiling begins. The disk also chatters on the bottom of the pot as boiling becomes more intense. Bread Warmer - For best results, simply heat the ceramic tile in your oven, toaster, or barbecue. Set the heated tile in a cloth-lined basket or dish, placing your warmed bread or buns on top, and cover with cloth. **Q: What diameter are these?**
A: Diameter is 2 1/4” - wish I would have found these 40 years ago - rice, stews, creamy soups will no longer spill over. Amazing product. 1 is not always enuf- depending in what kinda cook U are- remove with spoon before serving creation. I do not think they are nuke safe- as made from porcelain- toss in dishwasher. Also easy to store on it’s side ( have mine lodged in front on silverware drawer. 🍀

**Q: When I purchase this 3-pack, are the pot minders individually wrapped? I'd like to use them as gifts.**
A: They are individually wrapped.  I gave some away too. Works very well too.

**Q: I have never used these... what is the audible noise they are supposed to make?**
A: It’s a ceramic disc about 1/4 of an inch thick! It works best in water. When your water is about 210 degrees steam formed underneath the disk.
The disc will start rattling and making noise.
As long as the disc is rattling the pot will never boil over.
