Red Line 42804 Full Synthetic Gear Oil, V-Twin Transmission Oil with Shockproof - 1 Quart (2 Pack)

On recently purchased, 2008 HD Softail w/six-speed: Drained previous Owner's (? brand) transmission oil. Installed Red line V-Twin Transmission Oil. ( Looks like Pepto-Bismol ) Transmission now running quieter. Shifting, notably improved; easier and quieter. Obvious; transmission is less stressed. Certainly a 'change' for the better.Neutral, easily found. Even in an unlit garage, at midnight.

I've got a 2015 Harley Ultra Limited and (no surprise) it has the Neutral Gear Rattle noise. The noise is actually harmless mechanically. The noise is caused by transmission gear clearances combined with resonant vibration frequencies. "Some" vehicle manufactures (car & motorcycle) actually deal with this annoyance. "Others" do not. In any case, this RedLine Shockproof Gear Oil eliminates at least 90% of the noise and the volume of what remains is tolerable. I've been using this RedLine product for the last 40,000 miles without any issues. I am what I'd call a spirited rider and the last 30,000 miles have been with a mildly tuned engine (Heads, Cams, Displacement, etc).

Quietens down the rushmore harley gearbox. Better gear changes too. Fast delivery from opie oils. Will buy from again.
