He did a few good things. He broke the bar on a black man as President, the culmination of our Civil Rights Movement. He got our country firmly on the road to the new sustainable energy economy using Solar and Wind. But he overstepped in trying to save the Planet. The Earth has been both warmer and colder than it is at present, long before humans strode the earth or learned to use fire. Solar irradiation and volcanism combined constitute 99% of the energy flux on this planet; they always have, they always will, and man's contribution is negligible no matter what we do (unless we use nucs and blow ourselves off the planet). But Obama's greatest achievement was to focus attention on the INNATE EVILS of ISLAM. Our Founding Fathers encountered Islam in the form of the Barbary Pirates. Since then, we have mostly forgotten about Islam, except in conjunction with oil.
