I put it in a large pot with decent drainage, put the pot in what I hoped was a good spot, and gave it some water. So far the rose is growing well and showing a lot of new growth. I live in San Jose California and roses do seem to do well here, but I'm famous for my "black" thumb. If the rose can survive me, it must be good. The first picture is the Abracadabra, the second one picture is an earlier rose called Oranges 'n' Lemons.
