Are these better?** A: The 11.99 ones are the Syssa model. These are steel, but don't have a thermal layer to keep liquids hot or cold. This is the Deboyo model which does have a thermal layer. Note that the capacity of the Deboyo is smaller as a result (two layers of metal vs one). Check Elite's website for more info. Unfortunately it didn't fit the limited space of the sloping frame on his MTB bike; so I have got him another shorter plastic version for water. Same brand. That does fit. However, he likes this steel thermal bottle too. He will put it in his back pack in the colder seasons so he can have a hot drink. Impressed with the plastic protective cap which keeps the mouth piece clean but the push-pull nozzle is stiff, hence 4 stars. Plus side is the extra steel cap which unscrews so you can drink straight from it and being thermal keeps liquids hot for up to 12 hours and cold for up to 24 hours.
