A: It comes with enough wire to connect directly to the battery,  that is where it needs to be connected due to the amp draw.

A: Yes. My husband has the over 300lb jazzy chair. Holds it great.

**Q: Will it work with a Hoveround ?**
A: Yes my husband has a hoveround and we have the silver spring.

**Q: Will this work for goldern advenger scooter the end of the wheels are around 50" ?**
A: The unit I purchased will hold about a 40" wheel base.  When you purchase a lift from Amazon there will be questions about the make/model of your scooter.  They will also ask the year/make/model of the car you want to use the lift on.
