To clarify a couple of things: 1. It seems you misread the label in the photo. This product does NOT contain Octinoxate. (It does contain with similar-sounding names - octisalate and octocrylene - neither of which has been banned in Hawaii). 2. Avobenzone, which is in our product, has not been banned in Hawaii. This product is in fact fully compliant with Hawaii's Bill 2571, which went into effect on Jan 1, 2021 and bans the sale of (non-prescription) sunscreens containing Oxybenzone and Octinoxate. Those chemicals have been proven to cause reef damage and we are proud to have eliminated both of them from our sunscreen formula this year, even though a very small portion of our sales happen in Hawaii.
