I've been straightening my hair for years now, and takes me about 15 minutes with the flat iron but I hate how it damages my hair. I received my brush in about a day and tried it out that night. It was frizzy and puffy and wavy at the roots. (I'm Hispanic with medium length thick hair.) I decided to try it on my daughter who has shoulder length hair to see how it worked on her, but the results was also pretty disappointing. It may work well for someone who already has straight hair and just needs to tame it a bit, but not for someone who actually has curly hair. I do not recommend this product.., don't waste your money. I've only had it a few weeks, so I can't speak to the reliability, however, I usually use salon grade flat irons and thought I'd try this. This works really well, and it doesn't take me as long as using a standard flat iron. I can brush my hair straight and roll it under for a little style.
