Review: This is a great baby book for the parent that wants to record ... - This is a great baby book for the parent that wants to record something, but may be (like me) not the most timely with getting it done. The pages are fairly simple and don't ask for a lot of detailed writing, which when you have more than one kid to wrangle, is a blessing. This is for my second-born and the first baby book I got him had so many prompts to write in, I just stopped working on it after a few months. This book has a spot for a photo at each month and two little open-ended prompt boxes "Favorite Things" and "A Special Memory". I can easily look through my phone photos after the fact to jump start my memory to fill in that information! I really like that this book is more focused on the photo capturing, both seasons and milestones as well as a portion in the back that is open-ended. My "baby" is almost a year old and I know I can easily have this put together in time for his party! You won't regret getting one. And the illustrations are darling too!

**Q: Do you have to resize every photo to fit the picture spaces?**
A: Hi Jackie, All of the photo frames in "All About Me" are square - mostly they are 4x4, but on pages with a lot of photo spaces (like the "My Family" page for instance) they can be smaller. Many printing services, even drug store's that offer in-store prints, offer square prints now. This makes it easy to get prints that are just right or your journal. Of course, keep in mind that this is YOUR family heirloom. You should feel free to use a bigger photo than the space in the layout if you want, or maybe make a little collage within one of the bigger photo spaces. Instead of gluing in photos (see our recommendations for adhesives and other supplies on the back of the copyright page) you could get photo corners and put them in that way. You could use washi tape to make your own fun patterned borders! The possibilities are endless! You should absolutely do whatever you want to make it yours! **Q: How do i know if it will say "merry christmas" or "happy passover" etc.?**
A: Hi Chris, Each journal comes with pages for Christmas, Easter, Hanukkah, and Passover. Christmas and Easter are on the same sheet, as are Hanukkah and Passover. I was very hesitant to buy a baby book (especially at this price) for my third child, knowing how little time and energy I’d have to fill it. But I really wanted something to stamp his footprints in, and this one was so adorable. I love, love, love it! It’s SO simple- it’s perfect! None of those complicated pages where you record every tooth or growth charts. Just the important things! The firsts, and lots of photos. I do add his weight and length on the months that he had a doctors appointment. There are pages for various religious holidays, depending on your culture. Rather than tear out those that don’t pertain to us, I’m just filling them with photos. Even my husband enjoys writing in and reading this book. It’s wonderful!
