A: 110 works great

**Q: DOES this also offer fan option as well?**
A: It heats up and blows out the end at the same time. You can’t stop it from blowing as the element heats up.

**Q: Is there a way to have this in the on position without having to manually keep the slide button pressed?**
A: Dear Customer, thanks for your question about the GGC electric charcoal fire starter.

At present, the electric charcoal fire starter has no way to set it to the on position without manually pressing and holding the sliding button. Aalthough this way will be very convenient, we still have to consider it for safe use. When in use, we need to keep pressing the switch to control the ignition time; if the power is always kept on, it may cause burns or fire when people walk away. Hope you can understand that.

These charcoal igniters are really nice, and really work well when used properly. Different kinds of charcoal will all light a little different from each other - sometimes even causing excessive sparks. Be careful, dress properly, and let the igniter do the work. What I am really mad about is the company that is selling this igniter - they pulled a "bait and switch" with me, and sent me a "used, returned" item instead of the "NEW/UNUSED" one I purchased. I am so, so tired of vendors here on Amazon pulling this stunt. I did plug it in, and it works so I am going to keep it - I bought it with reward points, so I am not out real cash (just my points which are like cash). Find another vendor - plenty selling this same igniter.
