## Description

The 3M 468MP sheet has a high performance 3M acrylic adhesive that bonds extremely well to plastic and metal. It performs well under hot/cold cycles and temperatures up to 400 F. The outstanding shear strength of the adhesive provides resistance against slippage and edge lighting. Commonly used to bond nameplates, signs, graphic overlays, etc. The 3M 468MP transfer tape is ideal for bonding PEI sheets onto 3D print beds. Well within most 3D printer's print bed temperature range, the 3M 468MP Adhesive Tape is the perfect solution for attaching a level and flat PEI sheet. Each sheet has a protective liner on each side of the adhesive. Simply remove the polycoated kraft paper to expose the double sided adhesive.

Der beißende Geruch verflüchtigt sich aber nach dem Kleben bzw. nach dem ersten erwärmen komplett. Ich habe die restlichen Bögen deshalb in Folie eingeschweißt.

**Q: what is the best way to remove this adhesive have been using for a while and need to change pei sheets but it does not seem to let go?**
A: The best way to remove the adhesion is to use an adhesive remover such as 3M 08987, which comes as a spray can. Let the adhesive remover soak in for a few coats. It breaks down the adhesive. Then you can easily scrape up the broken down adhesive with a hard flat surface such as a plastic credit card.

**Q: can I use this to apply to the backside of a patch, cut out the edges and then attach the patch to a garment?**
A: Don't think it will work on fabrics

**Q: Is this safe to laser cut? If so, are the edges of the transfer paper easy to peel off?**
A: Not sure about laser cutting. Peeling it off was tricky. Needs to be done carefully. It worked great, however.

**Q: Is the adhesive crystal clear?**
A: The adhesive is clear, but once you apply it, it is almost impossible for the adhesive to remain crystal clear unless you are using a machine roller for application.

Careful application of this transfer tape is key as many have talked to. One 10x10 sheet can get you as many as 3 4.3" PEI disks for the Monoprice mini delta. (My application) Go slowly, peel the white backing off of the sheet or trimmed parts of the sheet for exposing the adhesive film. Carefully apply your PEI bed material, after peeling one of the protective film sides off, onto the smooth adheseive surface and slowly work from one side of the surface to the opposite side to get air bubbles out of the adhered transfer tape film. Once done, you're ready to rock and roll with the other side, doing the same slow even work to adhere it to the heated build plate on your printer. Once there, you should be good to go. Remember, the stuff is GRABBY. Once it's set down at the start of the process, you will have a hack of a time getting it off without damaging the PEI or the adhesive. Once properly placed just work from one side to the other to ensure few to no bubbles in your application.
