This controller can connect to two AC Infinity fans with EC Motors including other CLOUDLINE fan sizes, and CLOUDRAY clip-on circulation fans. Quiet and Energy Efficient Design Unlike common duct fans that uses an AC-motor which are loud and unmanageable, this duct fan features an EC-motor that is controlled using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). This technology enables motors to be able to run smoothly at extremely low RPM speeds without generating additional heat or noise. In addition, the duct fan uses a mixed flow design using a stator blade and dual hydrodynamic wind circles. This gives it a high static pressure rating, enabling it to deliver airflow even in applications where air movement is being restricted. The motor houses dual ball bearings rated at 67,000 hours which allows the duct fan unit to be mounted in any direction. The unit is IP44 rated to be highly resistant to dust and liquids, and performs well even in harsh environments. **Q: hello,i gonna use it in my grow room.
do i really need the carbon filter while using this fan?
if yes,can i use other brands carbon filter with it?**
A: This machine just blows air in or out.  The carbon filter get rid of smell. Two different things.  Yes, you can use a different filter mix and match equipment.

**Q: Is there no option to buy 2 fans and 1 controller?**
A: No there is no option for buying 2 fans and 1 controller. If you do buy 2 fans I would get 2 s models and buy the controller separately. Saves a little bit of money and get the same results!

**Q: I have read the reviews discussing the sizing issues with the inlet/outlet sizes being more 12.25 instead of 12.  Has this issue been corrected?**
A: If your trying to put that 12 inch flexible ducting you basically cant and just have to get aluminum tape. Its not that big of an issue though. With the tape it stays put.

**Q: Can this fan be used to exhaust kitchen hoods (e.g. inline connected to a hood liner)?**
A: I would not use such an expensive fan for a kitchen exhaust hood. The condensation and grease steam alone would gum it up and ruin it. They sell hood exhaust fans
