Pulled out the new Tropicool on Day 2. Performance: Great, and only glove used days 2-3. It is very light and airy, and seems to stay fairly dry in some miserable conditions. It was very hot and very lite winds. Looks like I've been doing handstands on blacktop pavement. They got really dirty just from normal usage. Have not tried hand washing yet, but maybe I will. Left handed gloves are for right handed players, and that’s what I ordered. **Q: hand orientation left...does that mean glove worn on right hand?** A: If it says left, it's worn on the left hand which is the appropriate hand for a right handed golfer. I'm right handed, so my stance puts my left side closest to the target, therefore I wear a left handed glove. Basically, you need to get a glove on the hand closest to the target. If you're relatively new to the game, I'd suggest going somewhere you can actually try on gloves because the fit can vary from one brand to another which is very important in my opinion. I have to wear a Cadet Large because I have large hands but my fingers are shorter than standard. I wouldn't have found this out by ordering online and may have wasted money. FJ has been my go to glove since and I now feel confident ordering FJ online knowing their Left Cadet Large has been a consistent fit across their line. If I wanted to try another brand, I'd go back to a store to see how it fits before taking my chances online. The TropiCool was actually a little snug when I first put it on, but had just enough give to be comfortable after a couple of practice sessions. I primarily use it for when I go to the range, and it's held up well. I wouldn't hesitate to use it on the course, I just happen to have it attached to my practice bag so I always have a practice glove. Normal leather gloves become a soupy mess after a couple holes, which means i no longer can grip the club. These literally changed golf for me. They could be soaked in sweat and still allow you to grip the club. I usually interchange 3-4 of them a round to keep them dry, but i dont necessarily need to because the material doesnt react much to wetness like leather does. Oh and they last forever. Ive had the same ones for well over a year.
