You can elicit several different shade values, by how much you feather this out.The shadow applies rather smoothly and buttery, not really pulling.There's a reason why some cosmetics cost more, some of them are actually just a better product in the long run for length of wear and the intensity of color, not just pretty packaging, but a solid, long lasting product for your eyes.For reference, I have pale green eyes and love the darker shadows to play them up. This will do it, no problem.This was not the blue I had hoped for, variances in monitors, no doubt, but am happy with the performance, ease of use and the compliments I've received on it. If you haven’t tried Urban Decays eyeshadows… you are missing out. A little suggestion: I used to be a make up artist and if you are not using a eyeshadow primer, you are not allowing the eyeshadow tones to “pop”.
