Color:Burgundy Red The Phonetic Eyewear Bravo frame is a pair of ready-made computer glasses designed to reduce digital eyestrain and fatigue caused by viewing digital computer screens and/or working in artificially lit office environments. According to a study by the Vision Council of America, nearly 70% of adults experience some form of digital eye strain due to prolonged use of computer devices. One of the causes of digital eyestrain is the excessive violet/blue light emitted by digital devices and today’s fluorescent lighting. The lenses used by Phonetic Eyewear have a proprietary coating that deflects a portion of the violet/blue light thereby reducing eyestrain. Wearers notice a reduction in glare and an improvement in visual contrast. Phonetic Eyewear lenses are prescription quality and made from a 1.56 index lens material and block 99.9% of UV light. Other computer eyewear makes use of either yellow or amber tinted lenses that absorb blue light while Phonetic’s technology actually deflects the blue light off the front of the lens. Phonetic’s clear lenses are more visually appealing and are the preferred solution for college students or those working in a professional office environment. Other advertised computer eyewear often has only a basic anti-reflective coating which does not deflect the unwanted blue light. Phonetic’s lenses included a hard coating to prevent scratching. The Bravo frame is a unisex design made from a super flexible and lightweight TR-90 frame material that self-adjusts to fit most faces. The frame dimensions are 51-18-145mm (eyes-bridge-temple). The square shape is ideal for rounder, oval and heart shaped faces. The design, lightweight material, and flexibility make these frames extremely comfortable. Also included is a neoprene protective case and microfiber cleaning cloth.

I like the glasses
I like the glasses. They are lightweight, comfortable and at first sight look like regular glasses to others. In comparison to real glasses there is a slight difference in weight, phonetics are much lighter, and in frame, they aren't bad but are more plastic like frames so wearing them and by feel you can tell the difference. The lenses put off a purplish light that others can see if there is bright light around you. So wearing them out and about, like other reviews have said you can do could be a little weird. I've gotten some stares from doing that. They definitely help reduce the strain on my eyes from the computer which is the most important part. My eyes feel more relaxed while wearing them. I did get a little nauseous the first day I started wearing them but I just would take them off for a bit and them put them back on throughout the day. The second day I put them on I didn't feel any nausea at all. Now I wear them comfortably while working! Great for what they are and they add a little style to your wardrobe!

The light, stylish and effective anti-blue light glasses
I have worked several hours a day on the computer. After work, normally I will have enough eye drain from the monitor so I will not be able to watch movie or tv at all. This computer glasses really helps to reduce the eye drain. Only draw back is that it is easy to have finger prints on them. It comes with a soft case and cleaning clothe though.BTW, it is the third anti-blue light glasses I have owned. And IT IS the best one so far.

Nice Looking and helps
My son is on the computer a lot and we saw these in a Wall Street Journal article and he tried them out. They look nice on and he says they do reduce strain and he likes the look as well.

Great glasses. It's made a HUGE difference in my eyestrain. My only issue is that there's a thin film over the frame that is flaking off.

Returned them
The style is nice but, I couldn't stand the blue glare on the lens that appeared behind the glasses when something shined behind me. They were to expensive to deal with that so I returned them. I gave two stars because I like the style.

For non-prescription, over-the-counter-type glasses whose maker's mission is to simply prevent eye strain or damage, squinting, headaches, glare and/or other harmful effects that can result from staring at bright computer monitors eight hours a day, these are worth much more than their selling price. Yes, there is a slightly yellowish tint that help the glasses do their job, yet it is so light, it remains unnoticeable by most others (coworkers) when worn. I recommend these glasses for anyone who prefers this over bulky screen protectors.

Best Computer Glasses I've ever bought !
The frame and make of these glasses is a lot nicer than pictured. I was worried about them looking chunky and plastic like - but they actually wear like a legitimate nice pair glasses. They are light weight and very well designed. The functionality of these glasses are the best I've used. Many of the glasses I have tried had an oily film, which made it difficult to see, and often had a very chunky cheap design to the make of the glasses. These feel like I'm wearing real glasses, as the lenses are very clear. They give the screen a bit of a yellowish tint (very slight) - which is what seems to reduce the eye strain. So far I love them!
