None at all. I don't mean that in a bad way. Quinn has once again astonished me. She has brought me to my knees on this one no doubt. Now kiddies shall we recap?OMG Decebel wahhhh!! T_T. When Jen finds out shes gonna be TICKED OFF and sad.I know I am. Man Vasile I Luv that guy. One thing the girls and I learned is that mind is a powerful thing.😍🙌 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Minus the forced humor/banter - this one rocks like the others in the series!! *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 19, 2013* Let me say right off the bat: I love Quinn and her stories. This one is no exception! The storyline picks up right where it was left off in Beyond The Veil. There is excitement, anxiety, heartfelt emotions will play out on you and of course happiness and good vs evil. I LOVE Sally and Costin's relationship in this. There is something a brewing with Fane and I am hoping in the next installment we will see what Jacque will do to him to SHAKE HIM OUT OF IT! I must say that Jen and Decebel are my all time favorite couple in this series!! My heart broke at one of the areas in this story which you will all find out when you read the book. Hopefully, the LAST book will reveal a happy ending. (Per Quinn, there is suppose to be a happy ending.)With all that positive being said, I need to state a few negatives. Quinn is a VERY witty author and has wonderful funny one liners. However, to try to put them in ALL THE TIME, ruins it. Also, the grammatical errors are many. I truly wish Quinn didn't try too hard with the bantering and humor in her stories. She is extremely talented and funny and shouldn't feel like it is necessary to have it ALL THE TIME. Because quite frankly, her stories rock regardless!! Example of too much: Peri is a VERY strong, powerful, old Fae and the statements that Quinn had her saying and at times WHEN she had her saying them, were just not fitting. She should have been more regal if you will. Yes, I do think Peri has a right to be more relaxed and funny at times, but not to the extent she was in this story. I feel Peri's banter/humor and some of the others in the story were just too forced and it literally took me out of the mood of the story and that really stunk. (I like to just get lost in a book and feel as though I am actually there experiencing it right along with the characters. Normally in Quinn's books, you do just that. But, the forced humor and the grammatical errors were too great at times.)BUT, even with those two negative things, it still is not enough to deter even me, from reading it. It had kept me steadily interested and there were non-stop things happening! I recommend this story and of course, I can't wait for the final book to be released!! (The next one hopefully will have the Decebel "answer", Peri vs Lorrelle "Ooooh what will happen with and between them??" And SOOOO much more!) I also feel I should mention, with a couple of statements made in this book regarding Sexual content, I feel under 16 is not a great idea for reading this. But, that is just "my" opinion. :) (Here is one the statements made: I won't mention names: "No more waiting brown eyes, you have been ordered to ride me." ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fate and Fury! Love and Hate! *by R***4 on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 18, 2013* Ok, I love and hate this book. Don't get me wrong it is well written and awesome like the others but it is cliffhanger central and that is so frustrating! The men in this book are their same over protective selves and the woman do their best to test them at every turn. Desdemona is as awful as ever and put our favorites in a lot of pain. Sadly the effects of her antics seem to carry over even when they are free of her grasp, causing tension among the wolves and their mates. I don't know what's going on with Fane and you won't either but he is such a jerk in this one and poor Jacque is feeling so insecure as to why. Your heart breaks for her in this one. Desdemona has been continuing her plot to open the veil and making Cypher follow through on his blood oath to open it. Cypher who realizes through Lilly that he needs to fight Desdemona seeks the help of other supernatural creatures to help stop Desdemona once the veil is opened. All the other wolf packs also come together to join in the fight against the evil witch with the guidance of Luna. Now back to our favorites. Jen and Dec are still their same fighting, bickering awesome selves but Dec will break your heart in this one and you will be screaming at Quinn to stop everything and get the next book out there now!!! Sally and Costin are fighting their attraction for each other and longing this whole book for their wedding, you almost want to just give them permission to just let loose already as the tension around them is so thick! So even though this book is going to completely frustrate you, you know you can't resist Jen and her mouth so just hit purchase already!
