My suggestion is to use Gen ace is Lipo battery 3S with 5000 mAh And with the anything about 35C rating.Or you can buy a smart spectrum battery they are usually come with EC5 Connector and you can also buy any smart spectrum charger, the cheap one is I Thing 50 W Charger that is about $30.That by default comes with the EC3 connector so you have to buy an extension of EC5 To EC3 Connector you can find them in any hobby store or an Amazon. **Q: How long will you get out of a battery charge** A: This truck doesn't come with a battery. But I have two 3s LiPO batteries both are 5200 mah. One is 80c and the other 50c. Ovonic and Hoovo are the brands. The battery life depends on what your driving like. If I am running up and down my street going 50 mph, I only get about ten minutes, if I'm shredding on grass about 20. And if I'm just having a good bashing session, probably about 23 minutes. If you are to buy a battery, I recommend the Hoovo 3S LIPO 5200 mah 80c. Because it has a higher C rating (which is how fast the battery can push power into the car. I was a little apprehensive about going straight to a fast brushless truck. But reviews I read said that the brushless trucks are going to have tougher parts on them to handle the speed. I have been running 2s Lipos in it and it is plenty fast. I started on 50 percent throttle and that lasted about 5 seconds till I switched in to 100 percent. The truck is very stable and controllable. I've been using it in my smaller front yard, but I'm sure when the snow melts, I can run 3s batteries in the back yard with no problem. It seems pretty solid, but it is not meant to crash into things at speed. I tumbled it pretty good though and it seems unfazed. UPDATE: This thing is a beast. I've driven this thing very hard. I've landed wheels up, done more cartwheels than I can count, and other than the body getting beat up a bit, it hasn't broken a thing. Except for catching a tire on a pole at full speed, and busting an arm, a shock, and steering linkage, but the parts were readily available and nothing expensive broke. I had it going in a couple of days.
