Optics This filter doesn't affect the image quality at all, and does not distort/soften the image. There isn't really any ghosting or flares, except when I point it directly at the sun, which is for the most part, unavoidable. Conclusion For the price, and knowing Hoya's quality, I've couldn't have asked for more, besides, what else is a UV filter supposed to do?
