It does feel like the increase in size quite rapidly because the last one is smaller than a pencil eraser. The quality felt fragile, if I pushed to hard while sanding, like I could crack it. If you are gentle, these can really shine. I loved how my nativity scene came out. The wood after sanding accepted the acrylic paint pleasantly, and I finished it off with Krylon triple thick crystal clear glaze making it look expensive.
