Stitching is unyielding, elastic grip is firm, little heads are soft but firm and look fantastic, better than they do online. Colors are intense.I purchased this to play with my 5 month old and he's enamored by them. His little mouth is always open in awe as I make up ridiculous stories on the go. He especially likes the Cow and his 'Uncle Matt' (the Tie Guy). Value for money. The only ones I can compare them to are the Ikea finger puppets I had some 10 years ago. Ikea's were esthetically more pleasing but more loose and of poorer quality, in my opinion. They come crammed in a plain see-through plastic bag with a tie-string. However they aren’t all made the same. Some of the finger holes are too shallow to fit more than just the tip of my kid’s finger in so it doesn’t work as a finger puppet.
