Adhesive pads kept sliding off every time anyone sat in either chair; and because the chairs are antiques I didn't want to do anything invasive like using nail-in pads. So I took a flyer on these furniture socks and I couldn't be happier. They arrived 30 minutes ago & I've already snugged them on both my wooden chairs. They fit snugly - to put them on you sort of roll them up like you would a tight pair of pantyhose - but they're intentionally snug so they'll do the job and not move. Huge bonus: the inside of each sock has a line or 2 of a hot-glue-like substance that enhances the non-skid aspect & prevents twisting/sliding of the sock up & along the chair leg. I test-drove the socks on each chair & they slide great & they really prevent the sound of scraping wood on a hard floor. The socks' dark brown color is unobtrusive against each chair's finish & blends well into the acid-stained color of our concrete floor. I doubt a visitor would even notice the socks. However, when you know they're there? They are ADORABLE. They look like the chairs have gotten socks to keep their legs warm. Excellent design & manufacture with a nice dose of whimsy. I would recommend this product to anyone, and my good experience has made me interested in other WISLIFE products. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saved our floors! *by S***E on March 7, 2019* We have bamboo floors and were advised upon installation to use protective pads on the bottom of our furniture legs. Those sticky felt pads work fine for things like sofas and tables that you never move around, but the ones on the chairs were always falling off after a while. I found these "chair socks" and we've never looked back. They are strong and durable and do not make marks on our floors. They do take a bit of strength to stretch out and fit over your chair legs, but once on, they are not going anywhere. We've had these for over a year and they are fairly easy to remove, wash, and reapply when they get dusty. They don't slip down or stretch out, and we use them on our chairs that are being pulled out from the dining room, desk and vanity several times a day. I highly recommend them from a functional perspective. My ONLY wish is that they made them in lighter colors to match various wood tones, such as oak or birch, but the brown ones are nearly invisible on my dark-wood chairs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks nice, easy to put on and they do not slide off *by S***O on March 9, 2017* I bought two sets of these and so far am happy with them. They fit very snug to the chair legs, and do not slip or slide off. They fit so snug that you may have a little trouble stretching them a bit to slip on.. but for me, once I got the hang of it.. I was able to slip them on to all the chair legs. I can't speak for how long they hold up but I assume since they are fabric that they will wear after awhile. But for right now they are working well.
