Single schematic picture showed device connected to VCR or DVD player, and that is not how I wished to use the device. I tried several different connections that involved my TV and my cable box, but I was unable to make the device successfully split the signal so that multiple HMDI devices could be used. I connect our video switcher as the input on this device and send the signal out to a projector, tv monitor, and computer for streaming. Sometimes I do need to make adjustments as not all monitors will work with multiple signals going out at the same time. Also, not every HDMI cord has worked with the device.
