Review: Works as well as more expensive units - I purchased this unit when the price dropped and was featured on YouTube Den of Tools. I did not need it but I could not resist the low price. I have a significantly more expensive unit so thought it would be fun to test them side by side. Impressively, this guy provided very similar result, only a few tenths of a degree at higher temperatures. This is a good home unit for a reasonable price which I ended up giving to my son-in-law. Most folks do not realise how handy these are until they have one so this is a great gift for a hard to buy for dude.
