This last month it was to the point of them going out after just a short phone call. Instead of replacing my phones I decided to search for replacement batteries. This is how I found the Odec 2.4V rechargeable cordless phone batteries. They are Ni-MH, 2.4V with a 1000mAh capacity (the higher this number is the longer the talk time will be). These are compatible with many cordless phones including: Uniden BT-1008, BT1008, BT-1008S, BT1008S, BT-1016, BT1016, BT-1021, BT1021, DECT2080, DECT20803, Empire CPH-515B, and CPH515B. I like that they snapped right in and charged up overnight. These batteries also feature over-voltage, over-current, over-charge, and short-circuit protection which is a big plus. I have been using them for almost a month now and have not had any problems with my phones since! In fact I can leave them off of their stands for several days at a time and they are still not drained! I highly recommend these 2.4V rechargeable cordless phone batteries by Odec to others!
