When you guys buy these, You needed to pay attention to the protection list on the device. it give low protection. for the price is high. You guys needed to pay attention to the print on the device itself and compare with other items. For the Surge and Lighting you Should buy the higher rate which would give better protection and if the lighting hit with minimal effect. Your device will survive and can take another hit if it would/should. But at the same time it save and protect your home and equipment. 4-6 more dollars for better protection. Even other device like this with better protection is cheaper.
