**Q: Where is it made?**
A: Made in India

**Q: Are those real brass fittings? They don't look like brass.**
A: Honestly I don't think so.

**Q: Is the black one an m7 or m3? I ask because the photos don't show the additional strap on the black one.**
A: Yes, this one is M7 black holster, it has additional strap than M3. 
Both variations of color is of M7 only. Thanks

**Q: Do you have to use the chest strap with it?**
A: Yes I use the chest strap with it. This is the same exact holster I used while serving on tanks in the army. Without the chest strap the holster wouldn’t stay securely to your side. Also on it , just in case you don’t already know, the excess strap you have after you adjust it to fit can be taped with black or brown electrical tape and it looks great. I prefer this holster because of how secure it is, the comfort and while wearing a light or heavy coat nobody can see that I’m carrying. The belt strap at the bottom of the holster I personally didn’t use it because it would tend to come unsnapped when I would sit down. We used this exact holster for our 1911 45 pistols in the army on tanks and then our beretta 1911 9m when we changed to them. I use mine now for my colt 1911 45 and it fits perfect.

The leather is selected for quality which can be seen from the uniform thickness in the straps and the holster. The stitching is straight and uniform with equal distance from the edges and equal spacing. The hardware is not the best in the world but is good enough. If this was an American made product I would expect to pay at least 3 times as much and I would still have been happy. Nice historical reproduction worth the price.

Bare min. As I wanted, but this is even better. Stitching good leather good and looks old like me - I can tool it as I want and gussey it all up!

After looking at many variants of this type holster, I decided on this one. I chose well. More comfortable than it looks. Quality leather and build. Fits the pistol perfect. I just wish the strap covered the hammer gap for cocked and locked. It can be modified, I still chose well.
