One side is quilted with padded fabric that protects against accidental drops. I use this side to carry the Ipad as it fits perfectly even with a thick rubber protection case that also has a pencil holder on the side. This side also has the portal for wired earphones to extend outside of the case. The other side has one large pocket, one zippered pocket on one side and on the other side there is a half sleeve pocket and 3 smaller pockets. This side is great for carrying accessories such as cables, power banks, ipad keybord or use as a purse section. The strap easily adjusts so that you can comfortably carry the bag at your desired length. The adjustable shoulder pad keeps the case in place as you walk. The material is made of durable high quality fabric. I can see this case lasting a long time.
