The quality is impressive. Yes it comes in a lot of pieces, but the connections are sturdy and reinforced. Also you need to know the frame comes in one box and the shelves and cushions come in second box. For me, the shelves came a day later than the frame. The assembly wasn’t bad. The instructions were good but it’s important to pay close attention. All of the parts are numbered very specifically and I got a little hung ho before I payed enough attention, so I had to take parts off and put them back in the right order. That was my bad. But I did find that the numbered parts had a mixup, so 1 was really 2, 2 was 1, 3 was 4, 4 was 3, and so on. But that didn’t really cause me trouble once I saw the issue.
