I'm 5'5" 122 lbs and small chested. At first I ordered a medium because I did not want a tight fit. It was wearable, but very wide. The medium was so spacious I considered that a small might still be loose, but instead the small is a lot smaller. It also seems shorter, falling barely at my hip. It works for me, but if you have even a remotely full chest, the small may be too small. I also wonder about consistency in sizing since the difference between these two items was so large. The fabric is stretchy, so if you wanted to show off every ripple, you could wear it tight.
