2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 Ford Explorer Rear Bumper Cover Protector Guard

This was for a 2014 Ford Explorer Black Sport and it fit perfect , looks great, protects top of bumper. Easy to install. Just follow instructions.

Ford missed the target with the bumper on the 2013 Explorer. I love my car, but was getting scratches on the bumper when I put the golf clubs in or took them out. This bumper is attractive and easy to install. I still have to be careful with the clubs to prevent scratches on the edge of the bumper, but it's much better than it was. At least it makes me more aware of not scratching the bumper and hides some of the existing ones. I don't know why Ford didn't put a permanent bumper guard in the original design like I've had with previous Ford products.

I can not tell you anything about the actual product because I bought mine almost two months ago and have not received it! They have suppose to sent it out twice with two different companies and I still haven't received it! Take this into a factor when purchasing the product. I will try to remember if I EVER get the product to actually write a review on it.

It was easy to install and looks good on bumper. However, I was disappointed with the quality and the way it is wearing on car. its already discoloring and has bumps in material.

Good fit / easy install / really like that it has a lip that fits over the edge of the bumper / would have preferred it to be slightly deeper on the bumper but still a great product

This protector is more expensive than the Ford offered product but is much sturdier and protects over the edge. The only draw back so far is that it has be installed on a warm day to get the tape to stay down and the Ford product has the Explorer logo on it. I wouldnt hesitate to buy this again over the Ford offered protector.

I bought this after finding my new Explorer had no protection for the painted surface on the rear bumper where you are very likely to drag things across as you remove them from the vehicle. The part was received in a timely fashion and it looked just great. My problem is that when installing it I failed to get it all the way up to the edge of the bumper. I was afraid I would break it since there was nothing supporting the edge. I was also not getting the entire bumper covered like I wanted. I tried to contact the manufacturer (their name and info was on the instruction sheet) since it was shipped directly from them, not the vendor I purchased the part from on Amazon. I hoped to have them send me a new set of tape strips that attach the cover to the car. They would not return my inquiries so I was forced to order an entire cover again. I am not blaming the supplier for the problem but I would caution you to get it on right the first time since you will not get any assistance if you do not.

I wish they came from ford like this. Perfect product The pictures show it as having an explorer logo, but it doesn't.
