It is great suitcase / garment bag, tho ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Face-Surfing tested Brand *by T***K on May 27, 2018* First, I’m going to explain why I chose to purchase Victorinox instead of other equally high end brands, and then I’ll comment on the Lexicon 2.0.Shortly before the 2017 winter holidays, I was in NYC for an uber stressful, but ultimately successful meeting. While trying to catch a train out of Penn Station NYC I found myself sprinting down a very long escalator with an old Victorinox garment bag (1999 or so) in one hand and a more recent Victorinox Laptop bag (2010ish) in the other. I tripped...This storyline normally ends with someone talking about how much they love the physical therapists who helped them learn how to walk again, or how much a face transplant has improved my quality of life. Nope.With my feet in the air, I face surfed that damn garment bag to the bottom of the escalator while the laptop bag went flying. Though my pride was mortally wounded (I landed in full view of a car full of passengers), physically I only received spectacular bruises and a modest cut on my left hand. Damage to the bag? The two plastic clasps shown in the picture had one tine broken off each - They still clasp together, just not securely. The laptop and iPad in the laptop bag were unharmed. I didn’t have the heart to ask Victorinox to fix the garment bag under their lifetime warrantee as I really don’t think face-surfing their product down an escalator was what they had in mind. With that experience in hand and some longer duration trips on the horizon, I somewhat blindly bought a complete set of Victorinox luggage including the Lexicon 2.0.I hope the pagan gods of “DudeYerTooOldToRunDownEscalators” accept the sacrifice of a virgin credit card as sufficient thanks. Ahem, on to the product...Well made, very lightweight, and sufficiently roomy for a 7 day business trip with 2 suits and casual clothing. There is no way you will ever use this as carry on luggage beyond privately chartered flights. The wheels are very high quality and near silent - they feel like they were taken from high-end skateboards without looking like it. Stable enough to roll around an airport with a 25lbs (10ish kg) carry on seated on top of it. As much fun to take out of the box and play with as a brand new iPhone and, as a set (pictured), just as expensive.If the set let’s me down, I’ll update this post. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Life changing when traveling for business *by N***R on September 18, 2019* With increasingly more business trips, I’m finding that my regular suitcases are less useful given that I have so many clothes that should be hung and not folded (blazers, dresses). Finally purchased this because of all the suitcases I have, the Victorinox ones get the most use and have really stood up to being checked in on countless flights. So happy I did as what a difference really well designed compartments can make! I can fit 4 pairs of high heels in the shoe compartments. I can pack 3-4 full outfits with room to spare for my big toiletries bag. So happy I could just pull everything out easily to hang in the hotel closet. Love the 360 rolling wheels as they make getting through the airport a breeze. Overall no complaints other than that the suitcase is heavier to start with but nothing I couldn’t handle as I packed much more efficiently. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Victorinox Guarantee Replacement for Tourbach *by C***Y on September 23, 2016* I got the Lexicon 2.0 yesterday from Victorinox as a replacement for my red 2009 "Tourbach Deluxe Wheeled Garment Bag". The Tourbach was a tank of a bag that felt way overbuilt but held a massive quantity of clothing -- my last use was this summer on a whirlwind 14 day trip to five countries in Europe. Unfortunately, while being heavy and overbuilt, my tourbach didn't take the beatings very well -- rubber stripped off one of the wheels, rivets for plastic slides broke, ballistic nylon wore out on corners, plastic/rubber handle shredded, and so on so I sent it in for "repair" under their guarantee.The new Lexicon 2.0 feels __very__ light (spec weight is same though?). And seems quite roomy. It doesn't have that feel of quality (but that feel for the tourbach was an illusion) but it has all the features and it will be nice having the extra set of wheels.
