It's only 600-700 watts, an info I was looking for but didn't find and eventually believed in the ratings. It's light, it looks strong and the brush rotates fine. Main problem is not hot enough air to dry, straighten or style hair. Conclusion is it doesn't do the main thing It's supposed to do. To make it worse is I waited too long to try it coz it didn't cross my mind that I'd want to return it. I'm a big fan of Babyliss and have many other hair tools from them but this one is the exception.
