It's a substantial lock so it does add some weight but I think that's what you want when you get a U-Lock. It's easy to mount and easy to use. It comes with 5 keys including one lighted key. It can be difficult to decide where to keep your lock but that good thing is that you can move the mounting brackets around if you need to relocate it.
