Installed on my house batteries and took less then an hour to install with one 14 gage wire connected to the positive terminal and one short standard high amperage cable between the shunt post and negative post, and then you go ahead and pair your smart phone and that’s it. You do have to download the app and make sure you go in to settings and enter your batteries total amp hour ratings. The app provides all the data you will ever need. Installed in an RV battery bay. The blue tooth signal reaches a phone in the area above the battery bay, but not at the driver's seat.
