Very high quality, I love this hub! I got a new Macbook pro that only has USB-C ports and needed a hub to complement it. This hub is the same color as the Macbook pro that I got, and charges it perfectly. I used a removable adhesive to stuck the to the underside of my deck so that it looks clean and is easy to use. This hub is much better than the other one made by HooToo because it can charge your MacBook pro meaning then you get home you only have to plug one port into your computer to get access to charging, hdmi, usb 3.0, and a SB reader. Everyone that has come into my office has noted how cool this hub is and loves the fact that you can just stick it to the under side of your desk (adhesive sold secretly haha). If you want to be able to take the jub with you just use Velcro and then you ca pull the hub off and take it with you. I am about to order another one of these for my desktop so that I have all of the port I need attached to the underside of my desk. Take a look at the pictures I have attached.

I've been using the another device prior to this one which has only 4 standard USB outputs. It was okay, never really meant to be the best or most permanent thing, but it managed as I didn't have a USB-C outlet on the computer. Well, I had to get a new laptop (with kids doing school at home now and me needing an upgrade). I got one with not enough of the normal USB-A type outputs, but it had USB-C output. I decided to finally upgrade the little device that was extremely inferior and served as the port for my inputs. The old device had super skinny wiring, felt cheap (it was), and sometimes the connected devices would come and go, but I dealt with it.I looked around for about 2 weeks trying to find something that would be reliable with the outputs that were optimal for me. This so happened to be that device. I wanted more USB-A type outputs than the others offered that I found. I do music production at home, and the interface that I used (Focusrite 2i2) WOULD NOT take being plugged into a port, I had to plug it straight into the laptop (defeating one of the 3 ports on the earlier computer). I also had an external hard drive that would lag and have a host of problems if not also plugged straight in (also didn't like the port). This left me with the cruddy device that I was using for about 3 other things (thumb drive, wireless mouse USB thingie, and yet another external hard drive). Needless to say, it was at times pretty problematic.This device cured all of that with way more speed and reliability. The outputs (I'm mostly [at the moment] using the 3 USB-A ports [Focusrite 2i2, external hard drive, and wireless mouse thingie]) are working way, way better without the devices (the interface and external hard drive) having any bizarre episodes. Thank goodness! My devices really like this port, so I'm happy. This has great options for outputs that will be of great use to me. The best thing about this is, it seems to sit better out of the way (the cable allows this as it has a bit more solid elastic control), more so than the prior thin cabled port I was using (cable was shorter, device was way to light to have any sort of power enough to stay put with the weight of the cables controlling where it was pulled to). That said, the cable on this thing instills a lot of confidence in me, very happy about this, and the device itself is very hefty, enough so that the cables attached to it aren't pulling it around as much as the prior device. The connection to the laptop USB-C port is very firm and doesn't feel lose or misaligned. Good times.There's hardly much more to say about this. It works extremely well, solves all my issues, has sufficient outputs and variations of them (using my USB-C port on the laptop freed up the 2 USB-A ports on the computer), and the build quality is superior. I tend to baby what I have, so no doubt this will last me a very, very long time. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Review on HooToo USB C Hub Model HT-UC001 "6-in-1" (Grey color)  Date: June 4, 2021.  This product was able to work with an LG V60 half the time.  Sometimes it was completely unresponsive as if nothing was plugged in.  Sorry I did not try other smartphone models.  This hub worked great with my 1TB External Hard Drive (aka OTG capable).  Speed of data transfer was 'acceptably' fast.  I tried connecting my phone to a couple of (ASUS) external monitors but with zero success.  I tried connecting a Nintendo Switch (NOT the Lite version) to my Smart TV..again with zero success.  I tried phone to tablet and tablet to TV with no success.  This product's versatility just wasn't meeting my desired needs and even when it 'worked', it was glitching and freezing too often.  Please note .... I tried MANY times performing these tests.  I would also try different methods and procedures in connecting said devices.  I tried leaving the devices plugged in for more than 15 minutes to see if things would change but things didn't improve. Sorry HooToo but I would not recommended this product.  If I did get a defective hub, I wasn't willing to try a replacement unit.  I will try posting a video of the Nintendo Switch but keep in mind that I tried at least 20 times at least an hour apart between attempts with no success (like in the video).  This hub appears well made. I purchased this hub to work with my new Dell XPS 13 9300. The Dell only has 2 Thunderbolt ports so it needs a hub to plugin monitors, etc. I am using this hub to plugin an HDMI monitor and for pass-through power charging.The build quality of this hub is very nice. It's metal (similar to the XPS laptops) and once plugged in, the HooToo words light up which is a nice feature. Looks and feels like a premium product.The issue I have with it is regarding the pass-through charging. When I bootup the laptop I get an notification that the charging adapter I have plugged in doesn't support fast charging and the system may run slower then expected. I admit that I actually don't know if this is true but getting this notification is annoying. I had to go into the BIOS Setup and change notification settings to stop this notification from popping up.I also had an issue with the HDMI port as I received a notification in Windows that the cable or display may not be able to support the full capabilities of the laptop. Again, I don't actually know if this is true or if this is an issue with the adapter. To my untrained eye, the monitor looks fine.Perhaps there are people who read this review and can provide their thoughts on the two issues above.Overall - I would recommend this adapter as it works as advertised and has great build quality. The issues I outlined above are 1) not big and 2) may not necessarily be the fault of this adapter. Plus for this price I think it's a good product.

I have purchased a few dongles online, most of them either don't work at all, or only partially work, don't work with the Mac Book Air, or eventually stop working entirely... I either had to return them or just donate them to the electronics recycle bin... but this one has been working great so far. I will give an update if it stops working, but it seems to be plugging along great right now.

Not suitable for people who need fast data transfer and the dongle is unable to support multiple storage devices if connected with external hard drive and it also gets too hot even if ur using only 1 device connected not recommended for this price point. I am using this since 2 months no other problems except the above mentionedThank you

This is the 4th USB-C Dongle i purchase and by far the best one. I'm running 2 extra monitors on my laptop and the Direct Power charger gives enough power to charge the laptop and use both monitors. Other products i've purchased in the past, if i connected 2 monitors would drain the battery even if charged. Also, doesn't overheat and looks sleek on your desk :)

HDMI - port is great connects to my monitor!USBs work wellAnd even use SD slot for dash-cam.If you need more / added ports for your Surface Book - I highly recommendNOTE - there is a different HooToo with different ports like Ethernet - so pick the best option for your needs!
