Review: Gorgeous, but undersized, book. - Full color under-sized book is beautiful! This book has MANY full-page portraits of flowers followed by full descriptions of the color plates. The pages are semi-glossy and gorgeous. The book is heavy, and almost 2 inches thick. Anyone that stops over likes to look at these beautiful pictures, although the pages feel too small. I use this book as a reference for using flowers in my art work. I have included a picture of an 8.5" X 11" sheet of paper behind the book to show how large the pages are. Full color under-sized book is beautiful! This book has MANY full-page portraits of flowers followed by full descriptions of the color plates. The pages are semi-glossy and gorgeous. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lots of pics/info in a small book

I have ordered other Taschen books (Monet) and I like how compact they are and loaded with info and lots of pictures! I thought this particular book was a general informational guide on flora, but its specifically related to the flora that was brought in and grown at the garden's castle in Germany. Regardless, the hand drawn pictures and story is interesting. Recommend!
