The color (lake blue) is very true to the product images.The cord itself strikes me as high quality. The sheathing material feels nice and cuts well. It is easy to melt cut ends to secure the cord. By virtue of being 9 strand, it is thicker and stiffer than 5- or 7- strand cords. For my project I probably would have been better off with a lighter gauge cord (better for finer knots, more pliable, etc.) but I was interested to try the thicker cord.
