## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can only half the product be mixed at once and then the rest at a later time?**
A: I haven't used the product yet. I wanted to wait until our drywall was installed.

**Q: does it has odor?**
A: When cured the product is odourless. Whilst mixing and applying we would consider the product to have a low odour. Some would describe the odour as a sweet smell; others would describe the odour similar to the smell of nail polish.
Please follow the instructions included in the kit.

**Q: Can this product be applied over a previously resurfaced tub and tile shower?**
A: I’m not an expert but would say yes it can

**Q: Can this be dyed black?**
A: I don’t believe so.  The product has a hardener that must be added to the paint just before use, after all the prep work is completed.  In the prepping it is necessary to get a very rough surface to the area you want to resurface or the product will not adhere well. Then here is only a 7 hour window To apply the resurfacing product before it becomes too hard to spread.  

I do not know enough about changing the color without changing the chemical composition so that it does produce the beautiful new surface intended. Would adding another product alter the “hardness factor”?

This is my 2nd kit. Love it works great and it covers. I priced what it would cost me to have bathtub redone. Way to much money. I found this kit used it. It looked like I paid someone to redo it. I used it on a claw foot cast iron tub. Those tubs are deep. One kit did it. Again great product.

The product works well, prep is the key.Cleaning and Sanding, sanding, sanding a cast iron tub, in my project’s case.1 year later used daily by several family members it has minimal signs of wear since original application.There was some surface staining from a blue soap/shampoo. But this was easily cleaned off.Good product, take your time with applying it.Took me several days of prep, prep, prep, and application was just like painting the tub.Watch for dripping along side wall of tub by not applying too thick; —can harden as drips in otherwise smooth and shiny finish.The application container was different to me on opening so pics provided on it.Before and after application pics from Dec 2022 (a year ago).

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but has a strong odor

The directions were easy to follow. Also found a YouTube video to be sure. It came out nice, but definitely needs three coats. With this company sold just the paint and hardener so I wouldn't need to buy a new kit. Since it needs a third coat, I'm going with a different brand that proveds just the paint and hardener so I don't need to spend an extra $130 on supplies I don't need. Though the paint went on easily, the odor has now lingered for about 24 hours. That's probably my only complaint though... Which I guess is expected with an epoxy paint. I can't review on durability because I just painted it... It did dry rather quickly though.
