I have just measured one of mine and H=73 D=35 W=40 centimetres. Obviously for depth you need to allow space for the exhaust hose, which may account for that 17.76 which is 35 cm + an extra 10 cm. There is also a very bright blue light on the top control panel. **Q: How long will the main vent hose extend to ?** A: Around 65 inches. **Q: Is this machine noisy?** A: Its liitle bit noisy for sleeping but is acceptable **Q: Can it be used without extracting through a window?** A: Only in fan mode, heating and cooling must be vented. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heats and cools fan is quiet and efficient. Air compressor is noisy but it works well. *by P***J on 17 July 2022* Heats and cools well, remote has great range but my one has a faulty display so not great. Fan is really good and uses only about 47w on low setting once you reach temp set. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but not great *by J***1 on 6 August 2022* This Whirlpool portable aircon works really well at cooling a large room down very quickly. The remote has a function called “Around U” which turns it into a thermostat you can put anywhere in the room and it beams the room temp back to the unit periodically and adjusts performance to suit. I purchased a window/door sleeve separately which allows use with a patio door. It generates quite a lot of condensation so I keep the hose attached to the top drain and run it outside with the hot air hose. The noise level is pretty loud considering it’s supposedly one of the quieter units on the market. Silent mode doesn’t really make a difference at all other than force it into Low fan speed. There is also quite a considerable “clunk” when the compressor engages and disengages which is strong enough to wake me up - and I’m a pretty heavy sleeper; strong enough to shake the machine pretty violently at times. Overall, I think it was pretty decent value for money as it was a good £200 cheaper than some other mid to top tier brands. ### ⭐ Help, I waited four days and bought a piece of junk~ *by S***N on 19 August 2022* It took four days to arrive, and it took an hour to install and connect the pipes. I didn't expect this machine to have no cold air? ? It was horrible and then I had to check the whole machine to see if there were any missing steps, but the whole air conditioner was very simple to operate, checked and tried it for a few hours, still no air conditioner, I wasted my time All afternoon, it was still bad.
