Review: Good iron - ferritin increasing nicely - Since beginning taking this iron in October 2024, my ferritin levels have gone from a paltry 14 to a "getting better" 45 on Mar 19. From what I read, that is not fast, but more like an expected increase due to the fact that I can't take as much as my doctor recommended due to side effects. I need to reach 100. I wasn't sure how well my body would respond, so even though this wasn't "fast," I think it's an effective product and will continue to take it. I have been researching ways I can more easily absorb it to try to accelerate its effectiveness. As a vegan, finding quality iron with nothing in it except Iron and Vitamin C was challenging. I'm ok with the price - the value for the money to meet my needs is good enough for me. As a warning: Please do not take iron unless your ferritin levels are low. It can be very bad.
