It's matte black color so it has a nice texture and does not ruin the look of your phone like other cheap pads. However I did meet an issue that even the smallest pad is a bit too large for my phone HTC 10, which has the back end curved on the edges. The common 1-inch diameter pad works just fine on my phone.
