We're on our second one of this model, because the 1st one did eventually break when daddy (me) stepped on it and broke the forklift. It is one of the smaller garbage trucks (less than 7-8 inches long), if that matters to you.

A: Great idea I think

**Q: Can this be a collector's item**
A: Sure

**Q: What material is this toy car？**
A: Mostly metal but the wheels and the parts that move are plastic.  My grandson is 3 and broke it in a matter of days.  I would not recommend for smaller children.

**Q: Is it suitable for kids？**
A: It really depends on the age.  The truck is very detailed and fairly sturdy. I gave them to 3 year old grandsons and they got pretty frustrated trying to operate the mechanism, doors etc. They were too young for it. The box says for 5 or 6 and up which is more appropriate.

Great truck! My 5 year old loves that it is functional and comes with multiple trash receptacles for learning. It is made of metal so a lot more durable. The tailgate opens and dumps and the arms pickup the trash cans. It is a little smaller than I expected but quality is great and still fits paper and “trash” to keep my toddler entertained. He pushes it around picking up rocks and leaves.
