I tried multiple places, inside and outside, front of the house and the back. It won't do it. I didn't remove a star because I could never get any of the other radio controlled watches I've owned in the past to sync either. I have had Citizen radio controlled too. No dice. It must be my location in the Northeast... But no biggie, I just set it manually, which is easy enough to do. But I highly recommend this piece, especially for under $300. Specifically, the manual for setting the watch says you have to fudge the time zone to correct for daylight savings. So it's a semi-automatic radio controlled movement at best. It also has about a half dozen settings exceptions that have to be corrected before radio control works at all. If you don't get everything tweaked just right you will think the watch is defective. Only complaint the glow hands don’t really keep a charge so when I wake up in the middle of the night can’t see the time. Other than that. Zero regrets on this purchase. Be patient on the Radio Sync. Would not sync for days but once it did. Keeps exact time as my iPhone to the second.
