Check YouTube, they have tons of video showing how to get it done. I used this part to fix our 2010 FX4 F150. Ford said it would be April of 2022 before the switch would be available to be restocked for them. The part has a feature for a locker that our truck didn’t. It allows the button in the switch to “pull out.” Really the only difference is internal and a small locker picture on the switch, you will be the only person who knows. The 4x4 is now working flawlessly in the truck and I didn’t have to wait until the winter was over to get it fixed! Review: Seems like a legit part - Arrived in an OE box. Seems like a legit OE part at a reasonable price, but will update again later if I find any issues. Fixed the broken switch in my 2013 Raptor that had the infamous cracked screw bosses.
