Review: I grew up swimming competitively and just recently came back to the pool after more than 10 years away (it takes that long to clear the excess chlorine from the system!). I picked up a cap, a suit, and a pair of Speedo goggles and hit the lanes--only to find myself adjusting and re-adjusting my ill-fitting goggles for most of my pool time. Maybe Speedo has lost quality, or maybe I was more tolerant in my youth, but either way, I needed to have a good fit that wouldn't leave my eyes red, puffy, and ringed at the end of my workout. I picked out the Finis because I liked the smoke lenses and they had good reviews...and I am not disappointed! These are the most comfortable goggles I've ever worn, and I didn't have the excuse of foggy, water-logged eyepieces to stop every other lap (needless to say, I'm getting a better swim in). Oh, and I don't look haggard and red-eyed after my swim, so I feel more comfortable leaving the pool to go back to work, or out with friends.
