My 5yr old is long and lean but where size 7slim Jean's(u.s.) and size 8(med) boys so we bought the 7-8 and you can see it's a bit baggy. Your safe to order to size. They clearly made this with extra all the way around in length and width. Puffy Bob tail is squishy and doesn't interfere when he uses them as pajamas. Feet and hands are cuffed like a hoodie or sweatshirt with 100 stetched cotton fabric. I highly recomend product and Im picky. Arrived 5 days before expected delivery. We've had it 4 months now and machine wash and dry like normal clothes. Still soft. I like to wait to product review into detail.
