You can't tell from the picture but one of the great things about this bottle is that the outer glass wall is built into the inside bottle chamber. Therefore, it's one glass piece!The bamboo lid has a silicone inside, and then there is the removable filter cup and lid.Very easy to clean! The bamboo lid is hand wash only.I brewed my chai tea in this infuser, it was extremely hot but I still was able to handle the bottle with my bare hands without a sleeve.Also, and this is very important, I put it upside down and gave it a couple of "cartwheels" and had absolutely no leaks!It fits nicely in my car's cup holder.Without the stainless steel tea infuser I can also have water or a cold drink in this bottle.No doubt, the glass bottle with the bamboo lid makes it very attractive!
