They are very attractive and comfortable and provide a lot of structure when walking. I’m not sure if there is a better sandal for flat feet but I just love these shoes. **Q: I wear a size 6.5, what size should I order?** A: I am not certain, but I wear a 5.5 and ordered a 6 as per the website and they were too big, length and width. I had to return them. Too bad because they are a beautiful shoe. **Q: I wear a 9.5 and have a narrrow foot with a high arch, what size shall I buy?** A: They are true to size. I wear an 81/2 in a closed toe shoe, and ordered these in an 8 and they fit perfectly. They are soooo comfortable, my go to shoe for the summer. **Q: I have slim feet, would these sandals adjust for me?** A: I think so, but the only way to know is to try a pair. There's an adjustment across the toes that seems quite slim and I have to open that wider for myself. In the old days I think it would have fit my then slim foot fine. Try a pair so you know. Very comfortable! *by A***R on March 8, 2026* I really enjoy these Taos The Show sandals overall. They’re super comfortable right out of the box and feel like a step up from your average flat sandal. The premium leather is soft, the adjustable Velcro straps (on the forefoot and ankle) let you get a secure, customized fit, and they look stylish enough for casual outings or errands. That said, the sole isn’t as thick or heavily padded as I expected from a Taos shoe (they’re known for good support). It’s more on the moderate side with their signature Soft Support footbed and some cooling gel elements, but it still provides decent cushioning and stability. For me, with high arches, these offer enough support to wear them all day without pain, and they’re definitely more comfortable than basic flip-flops or thin-soled sandals. However, if you have really high arches or need aggressive arch contouring (like a true orthotic-level lift), these might not fully meet your foot—they don’t quite reach up into my arch the way some other supportive brands do. Sizing was a bit tricky for me. I normally wear a 9.5, and I initially ordered a 10 thinking I’d want room. They felt a tad loose and not snug enough, so I returned them and went with the 9 instead. The smaller size fits much better—snug without being tight—and makes them feel more secure and comfortable overall. One minor aesthetic nitpick: in my size, my toes sit closer to the front edge than I’d prefer visually (they’re almost at the edge rather than having a little overhang space), but functionally it’s not an issue and the fit is way better. The camal/ tan color is quite a bit darker than my skin tone but hopefully I will get some sun this summer and they wont contrast so much with my skin tone. Bottom line: These are a solid choice if you’re looking for lightweight, adjustable leather sandals with good (but not maximal) arch support and all-day wearability. They’re especially nice for moderate-high arches like mine. I fell in love with these shoes and have been wearing them everyday. They are so comfortable that I forget to take them off when I enter my house. I love how the upper and lower velcro straps will taylor to your feet. My feet tend to puff up when I travel. One can readjust if necessay throughout your hours of walking. I also like that the design is very stylish and does not look like your grandmother's ortho shoes. Once I fell in love with these shoes, I wanted to purchase another pair yet in a different color. The metallic Champagne color is very nice. There is soft arch support as well to accommodate allowing one to walk for many hours. The quality is top notch.
