I broke the old one removed. Where I ran into problems is that the old overflow was shorter (even though identical). The only way I got the new one to fit was by not installing the included washers. Even then I was only able to screw it in 1 or 2 turns into the thread/receiver. It then leaked so I used plumber puddy and gasket maker to try to seal it.TLDR: I should've just replaced the drain only. The overflow didn't fit my glass sink.I also broke the class while tightening it.So again... replace the drain and keep your old overflow unless absolutely necessary to replace.Otherwise the drain works great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So hard to find *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on 23 November 2019* You guys are a lifesaver. This kind of overflow assembly is so difficult to find. I went to two specialty plumbing hardware stores to find a part like this when mine broke and they didn't have it.
